How early should Annual Design be engaged before the publication date?
Ideally four to six months before publication. Annual Design recommends beginning the strategy phase immediately after the previous year's report has been published. This creates the headroom to develop concept, design and copy without pressure, and to complete all approval rounds without deadline risk.
Does Annual Design also produce the online version of the report?
Yes — Annual Design develops print and online versions in parallel from one shared design system. The online report can range from a simple PDF-based web viewer to a fully interactive microsite with animated KPIs and accessible navigation. How does Annual Design handle confidential pre-publication financial data?
Annual Design routinely works with embargoed data — year-end figures, strategic plans, acquisition information. All team members are bound by contractual confidentiality. Additional NDAs are available on request. Files are stored securely and deleted after project completion where no retention obligation applies.
